First Aid Annual Refresher

Course syllabus

The 3-Hour First Aid at Work Refresher course is intended for individuals already certified in Full or Emergency First Aid.

This course aims to update and enhance the First Aider’s ability to provide effective life support, assess and treat injuries or illnesses, and ensure the care and comfort of those in need.

Although the HSE stopped approving First Aid courses as of October 1, 2013, the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 remain in effect. The HSE advises that all First Aiders should refresh their skills on an annual basis.
